Understand your blood pressure

What is high blood pressure?
Blood is carried from the heart to all parts of your body in vessels called arteries. Blood pressure is the force of the blood pushing against the walls of the arteries. Blood pressure is the force in the arteries when the heart beats (systolic pressure) and when the heart is at rest (diastolic pressure).




Who is at risk?
  1. Have a family history of high blood pressure
  2. People who less execise, smoke, drink alcohol
  3. Are overweight
  4. Eat too much salt, drink too much alcohol and smoking

Normally there is no specific symptom, if you are in high blood pressure, you will:
  1. Headache
  2. Eyes side problems
  3. Chest pain
  4. Hard to breath
  5. Irregular heart beat
